As a part of a state-wide College Access Campaign, students can apply to several South Dakota institutions, and they won’t have to pay an application fee.
For six weeks, beginning October 18 and ending November 30, the application fee is being waived at participating institutions. In previous years, students were able to apply without an application fee for one week in the fall, but this year, the state has expanded College Access Week to six weeks.
The campaign is part of the American College Application Campaign (ACAC), which is a national effort to increase the number of first-generation students and students from low-income families pursuing a college degree or other higher education credential.
