Scholarship opportunities on Department of Labor website

June 7, 2021

Although the main purpose of the site is to provide information about careers, CareerOneStop also offers scholarship information to help with funding the education needed for a chosen career.

CareerOneStop, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a site that provides resources for career exploration, training, and jobs. In addition, the site offers Scholarship Finder, a searchable list of more than 8,000 scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial aid award opportunities.

According to the site, visitors can:

  • Look through the list of scholarships, arranged in order of closest deadline.
  • Narrow the list with "Search by keyword." Enter a keyword about the type of award being sought.
  • Use the filters to see only awards for certain award types, locations, level of study, and more.

No registration is required to use the site’s scholarship information.
