Probably much to the relief of educators in the state, the South Dakota Department of Education has extended the testing window for various assessments by one week.

According to an announcement by the Department, the extension is a result of the number of snow days experienced this year.

The online testing window for the math, English language arts, science, and science-alternate assessments will now close on Friday, May 12.
