Shawn Helmbolt, director of admissions at South Dakota State University, was one of the admissions experts quoted recently in a national article on the college transfer process.
The U.S. News article: “Transferring Colleges: 8 Frequently Asked Questions,” published on December 6, 2022, addressed a number of college transfer issues.
Helmbolt provided answers to several questions in the article, reminding transfer students to “consider factors important to you, such as transfer credit, cost, campus environment, academic programs and student life” when deciding which school to choose the second time around.
