Although the 2022 South Dakota Week of Work is well over, the benefits from the activities don’t have to end.

Programming from the event, which introduces middle and high school students to career opportunities, is now available online on the South Dakota Week of Work website. Educators and students can view three days of sessions in which panelists discuss careers in various industries. In addition, the website has other resources available for students, parents, educators, and employers.

According to information from the South Dakota Department of Education, the week is one of “exploration and celebration, with the aim of guiding students, engaging local businesses, and introducing employers to their future workforce.”

The 2023 Week of Work is scheduled for April 3-7, 2023.
