College planning events are a great way to encourage juniors to prepare for their senior year and to be ready to complete the FAFSA in the fall.
Mapping Your Future hosted financial aid night events this fall for South Dakota high schools, providing live remote financial aid night sessions and presentations on college planning and on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
If you didn't host an event or would like to host another event in the spring, call us or e-mail us to schedule one. Perhaps there is a class at your school that would benefit from a presentation during the day, or a night event could be scheduled and students and parents could join from a central location at the school or from the comfort of home with an Internet connection.
During a live remote event, a Mapping Your Future staff member is on camera with a presentation on the screen. This event works like many of the technologies today that allow face-to-face communication. You will be able to see and hear Mapping Your Future, and we should be able to hear those attending the event. We could even see the audience at your event if you have a camera on your computer and it is turned on.
